Buttonwood
Winery has been producing wonderful estate-grown wines in the Santa Ynez Valley
for over 20 years. Australian Mike Brown passed the winemaking torch to
Karen Steinwachs nearly two years ago and Buttonwood did not miss a beat. Tonight,
we will have the chance to enjoy two of Karen’s new releases, plus, as a special treat, we will feature two different
vintages of Trevin, Buttonwood’s Flagship red blend. The ’03 and the ’97 will
be served side by side, allowing you to compare them and experience the
excellent aging potential of this wine. Each course will feature a food course
created by Chef Melba, designed to compliment Buttonwood’s great wines. This
is our first dinner at Chef Melba’s and she is as excited as we are. Join us as
we welcome Karen back to the LA area for one of her first local winemaker
dinners. Space is limited so reserve early!
